How old do you have to be to rent a slingshot in Oklahoma City?
Each driver must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
Can I have more than one driver?
a.Yes, we allow multiple drivers. However, each driver must be listed on the rental and sign a waiver.
b. Additional drivers must also complete a waiver online.
What is the youngest age to ride in the slingshot?
Passengers must be able to place their feet flat on the floorboard, back against the seat rest, and hands on the handlebar. A safety restraint for younger passengers must be provided by the driver.
What is the fuel policy?
a. All vehicles come with a full tank and must be returned with a full take. YOU MUST USE 91+ Octane fuel. Using lower octane gas or ethanol blends can cause damage to the slingshot. A damage fee of $250 will be assessed if the wrong fuel was used.
b. If the slingshot is not returned with a full tank a $50 fuel charge will be assessed.
What if we lose the key fob or damage it?
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all Slingshot rentals. Deposits are $150 for rentals up to 8 hours and $300 for rentals 24 hours or more. Please note that cash deposits require a major credit card on file.
Do I need to have a motorcycle license to drive a slingshot?
No, the State of Oklahoma classifies the slingshots as Auto-Cycles. A valid state driver’s license is all you need.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Helmets are included with every rental and provided to each rider free of charge.
Do I need to purchase Insurance?
Insurance is included with every Slingshot rental. Please note that we do not accept outside or third-party insurance coverage.
